| Youth Program |
| God is working through the Deep River youth. We have an enthusiastic group from infants to teenagers. As our congregation grows, so does the number of our youth. Our young people are involved in numerous Christ-centered classes and activities. With Godly input from our shepherds, deacons Scott Sensing and Mark Boozer, Lads to Leaders and Leaderettes ministry leader, Todd Hamm, and many committed parents and family members, we are continuing to find ways to fire-up our young people! We are excited about new opportunities to keep our youth moving forward and having fun while maintaining a spiritual environment. |
 |
Our youth have and will continue to participate in community service projects such as: devotionals, speeches and leading singing at local nursing homes; making follow-up contacts and writing cards with our Monday Night for the Master program; Vacation Bible School, the Carolina Bible Camp as campers, workers and junior counselors; and the Lads to Leaders program with puppet shows and other leadership developing skills by participating in various aspects of church service.
Our young people are constantly seeking opportunities to fellowship and spend time with one another. We are looking forward to more activities such as bowling, lock-ins, cookouts, camping, swimming and many other fun Christ-centered activities. Our goal is to continue growing closer and encouraging one another in love and good works. We welcome new families with energy and a desire to be a part of a dynamic group of God-fearing young people excited about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. |
